Not Quite As Good

Okay, down side to the Film Festival is that my buffer ran out, and I'm having a bit of writer's block problems with this next bit. There will be an update Tuesday afternoon/early evening, and Friday's update should be up as usual. Apologies for the delay.

Good Times

Man, I love the Film Festival. For those who are curious, I've been posting some reviews of movies I've seen over at my Twitter account. Take a look!

There's some other stuff in the pipeline - I'm expecting my next big announcement to come in a couple of weeks, so stay glued to this space for an awesome surprise!

Another Year, Another Dollar

Yep, it's my birthday today. To celebrate, I'm introducing new characters! Hopefully, you'll love to hate them as much as I do.

Especially Arthur. Man I love to hate that guy.

Attack of the Spambots

Hey, folks!

So, tiny bit of bad news - or maybe good news, depending on how you look at it - Patchwork Magisters is now popular. Unfortunately, it is popular with spambots, who managed to drop fifty comments onto various pages in the last eight hours.

So I've had to make a small change to the comments section. From now on, if you're a newcomer to the site, I will have to approve your first comment. Once that comment is approved, you should be able to continue posting normally. Sorry about that.

Happy Holidays!

To my Canadian and American readers, happy Canada Day / Independence Day! There shouldn't be any interruption in updates due to the festivities, so read up and then go enjoy yourselves. :)

To those of my readers who are going to be in Toronto over the next two weeks, I suggest a bout of awesome theatre, because awesome theatre is awesome. And conveniently, there happens to be a show on in Toronto over the next couple of weeks which will be awesome theatre.

What I'm saying is, go see Mute.

Welcome!

Greetings, my friends, to the new incarnation of Patchwork Magisters!

That's right, the story has officially been updated to its own website, which I think you will agree is a little bit sleeker and more suited to serial fiction than the one which I had before. There are still a few things to work through over the next couple weeks, so if you spot anything that you think should be changed, let me know and I promise to take a look at it.

In the mean time, the old site isn't actually gone, but it is now the wiki/forum for this site. Further story updates will not be posted on the old site, although the existing ones will stay there (because hey, why not).

It's the start of new things for the Magisters, and I hope you like the way things go. Stay tuned, because this is only the beginning!

Archives Complete!

The archives should be up and running by now, unless I've made a tragic mistake. If you find any problems with them, feel free to drop me a line.

In addition, this news post serves as a test of front-dating my posts. Let's hope it works out correctly.

Hello world!

How are you even here?

No, seriously, this website doesn't even functionally exist yet. How did you find me? Why were you randomly searching for a website that I have left no clues to the existence of?

Really. I would appreciate a comment on the subject. And good show!
